High-Power LED Wall-Pak Luminaire Reduces Cost of Wall Washing and Security Lighting
TORRANCE, CA—October 1, 2009—LEDtronics® announces its first series of energy-efficient LED replacements of wall-pak luminaires for wall washing and security lighting. The high-power WWL20-24X2W-XPW-001W floodlight runs on a wide range of voltages, from 100 to 277VAC, consuming only 56 watts of power. Easily mountable on walls, ceilings or floors indoors or outdoors, the LEDtronics wide-beam and weatherproof Wall-Pak is made of die-cast aluminum housing and high-impact, heat-resistant polycarbonate lens, efficiently designed to dissipate heat and distribute light evenly.
This all-weather luminaire offers an extended LED lamp life, maintenance-free operation, long-lasting durability, major energy savings, and reduced light pollution, all translating into reliability, ecological sustainability and sizable budget savings.
Standard wall-pack luminaires are notorious for reduced control of light output because of their poor optical configuration, contributing to light pollution, wasted uplight and a shallow light projection. The high-power LEDtronics Wall-Pak’s design achieves a much more efficient illumination coverage — The optical center of the lens is aligned with the lamp source for an even symmetrical distribution of light that redirects light to minimize glare. It effectively sends a wide-focused circular beam of around 85 degrees that spreads 157 degrees vertically and 38 degrees horizontally.
The LEDtronics WWL20-24X2W-XPW-001W floodlight boasts an outstanding color quality, a 6000K pure-white light with 2,777 lumens of brightness. It uses 24 highest-grade CREE XR-E LEDs that meets LM-79/LM-80 requirements, and incorporates a ballast of 0.99 power factor that supplies constant-current power. Its one-piece silicone gasket seals housing and lens frame, locking out moisture and dust, and the all-weather housing is finished with durable, rust- and corrosion-proof architectural bronze.
Because LEDs have no filament, their solid-state design renders them impervious to shock, vibration, frequent switching and environmental extremes. With an average lifespan of more than 50,000 hours (5.7-plus years), white LED bulbs operate more than 20 times longer than the equivalent incandescent bulb! Unlike compact fluorescents, LEDs contain no harmful mercury, and because they do not emit large amounts of heat, UV or infrared light, they protect what they are illuminating. The fact that they run remarkably cool also means they greatly reduce the fire hazard normally associated with the use of incandescent lamps.
The energy-efficient LEDtronics Wall-Pak floodlight provides a controlled, directional light that is perfect for use in parking areas, building entrances, perimeter security lighting; signage illumination and architectural accent; walkways, stairwells and corridors; loading platforms and recreational areas. How do you know a Gameboy color pak is out of internal battery?
So I was playing pokemon Crystal on my GBA just a minute ago and suddenly the screen said 'This pak is only designed for Game Boy Color' or something along the lines. I thought for sure the internal battery was permanently dead but I restarted and it ran smoothly. No problem saving or anything. Since the game is apparently still alive, my questions are how will you know if the battery REALLY dies, and what the llama just happened to my cartridge.
Well my friend told me that his Pokemon Gold and Silver stopped letting him save and such so he had to replace the battery inside the cartridge for it to work again.
