Hp and Epson Both Launches News Inkjet Printer
Epson B-508DN features integration of relatively low inkjet printing costs and high laser printing speeds, resulting in a low average printing cost per paper of NT$0.3 for monochrome (black & white) and that of NT$1.2 for color, Epson Taiwan pointed out. With a recommended retail price of NT$19,900, the model is expected to reach a sales volume of 2,000 units in 2008, Epson Taiwan indicated.
Color LaserJet CM1312 and Color LaserJet CM1312nfi (with fax and Internet-connectivity functions) cater to small-business and SOHO (small office home office) users with comparatively low recommended retail prices of NT$13,999 (US$460) and NT$19,999 respectively, HP Taiwan indicated. HP aims to increase its Taiwan market share for color laser MFPs from nearly 50% currently to 60% by the end of 2008, HP Taiwan pointed out.
Packard (HP) on July 14 unveiled its Color LaserJet CM1312 and Color LaserJet CM1312nfi, two new color laser MFP (multi-function peripheral) models, while Seiko Epson on the same day debuted its new business-use inkjet printer B-508DN, both for immediate launch in the Taiwan market, according to HP Taiwan and Epson Taiwan Technology & Trading, respectively.

I am going to buy a epson photo printer?I found a great deal online, should I buy it online or in a store?
Any ideas if it is a good idea to buy a printer online or not? I found a great online deal for an epson photo printer (with the genuine epson cartridges coming in the same pack which is pretty nice), but I am not sure if it is a good idea to buy it online (vs. a store locally). Any suggestions?
I think an argument can be made for both sides. There are obvious benefits for both cases. For instance, if you buy online, you can thoroughly research the product and get great deals like the one you mentioned. But in person, you can see the product and perhaps get a warranty. It is really up to you and how comfortable you feel in your printer decision. It sounds like you have a good idea about what you want. Just make sure the online store is reputable. You know, the usual signs like an encrypted shopping cart, status with the BBB, etc. As long as you take these precautions, I say go for it!
