Is lead tape dangerous to children? I have some lead tape on a lamp?
in my childs room. It is nowhere near the child, but the label on the tape says "lead is known to cause cancer and other defects." Do I have anything to be concerned about?
Nothing to be concerned about unless the children ingest it.
Years ago latex wall paint had lead in it and as it would get old and dry and chip/peel,children were known to sit and eat it like candy flakes . . . I have not knowledge as to why they would do this as I would assume it doesn't have a taste and a bad one at best.
