how quick should black ink fade?
ok here is my problem.almost a week ago i got a small solid black scorpion tattooed onto my lower back.the scab is finally coming off and instead of looking black the tat looks gray.i have one other tattoo but never had this problem with it.could it be a bad ink job? or like my guy says just dead skin that still needs to fall off from the work?any input is welcome.
I agree with everyone else, it is dead skin and takes a few weeks to truly heal and surface even after the scab is removed. IF after say after a month or so you've had it done it still looks grey, go back. I had one on my forearm that was black but it turned grey after a few months, so I went back and the artist was surprised and said it must have been a bad ink batch so re-did it. This is the first out of about 28 tattoos I've had that it's happened to, so it's highly unlikely
