what does RGB stand for , what are the individual symbols for ink colours: cyan, magenta , yellow and black?
i know that all of them are CYMK
RGB stands for Red, Green and Blue and is one of several colour models used for different applications. Mixed in varying proportions, different colours are achieved. The RGB model is typical of computer screens. You have answered the second part of the question yourself: C=cyan, Y=yellow, M=magenta and K=black. This is another colour model typical of computer colour inkjet printers. Theoretically, CYM is all that is needed to produce any other colour but in practice, the three colours cannot produce a decent black, hence the need for a pure black in the colour model. Chemical photography, however, works quite happily with a CYM model.
