HP Photosmart 3310 Review
The HP Photosmart 3310 shares a lot of features with previous all-in-ones coming from HP, although this specific model ups the ante in a number of crucial aspects. Like the HP Photosmart 2710, the 3310 offers stand-alone copying, faxing, scanning, and also printing, plus wired as well as wireless networking, built-in camera card slots plus a PictBridge port. The 3310's specific ink tank system, boasting two specific photo inks, is definitely better than the 2710's twin cartridge method, plus the 3310 provides scanning for the purpose of negatives as well as slides.
The gleaming grey Photosmart 3310 is a concise 18 by 20 by 20 inches (WDH) with the scanner lid open as well as the paper trays extended. This appliance weighs about 26.5 pounds, weightier than its lean shape may well appear but an easy task to pick up. In contrast to far more business-oriented all-in-ones, the Photosmart 3310 lacks an automated document feeder; as an alternative, the removable flatbed scanner cover contains a built-in adapter designed for film, negatives, and slides that will assist photo enthusiasts.
A substantial, 2.5-by-3-inch colour display dominates the heart of the HP 3310's stylish control panel, which you may tilt to find the best viewpoint. Specific buttons deal with Photo, Video, Copy, Scan, HP Instant Share, as well as Fax options, together with an alphanumeric keypad, a target-style menu, plus a blue-glowing wireless radio icon. Four camera card slots plus a PictBridge camera port are also in the front. Rise up the control panel from underneath to get into the six pop-out ink tanks, including an extra large black module as well as less big ink cartridges for yellow, light cyan, cyan, light magenta, and magenta.
The HP Photosmart 3310 includes a 50-sheet output tray; a photo paper tray that stores as many as 20 sheets of photo paper; along with a principal, base paper tray which in turn holds 100 sheets of paper from 3x5 inches to 8.5x14 inches in size. To load photographs, you have to take away the bottom of the output tray, which is straightforward. Yet since the photo tray won't move, you must grope around in order to place pages into it. At the rear, the HP Photosmart 3310 handily locates a USB 2.0 port, an Ethernet port, along with an indicator light, and also two fax ports (1-line and 2-EXT) in one region.
Inkjet multifunctions are less than quick, and the HP Photosmart 3310 isn't an exception to this rule. In performance checks this machine created 5.26 pages per minute (ppm) of normal quality black text along with a letter-size photo in 81 seconds.
The 3310's text print quality making use of the HP Photosmart 3310 ink cartridges on HP Premium paper was in fact excellent when it comes to an inkjet. Text letters looked deep black as well as readily legible, even at 2-point size. The 3310's colour graphics demonstrated even gradients as well as superb details however experienced erroneous colour coordinating due to to much cyan. Printed upon HP Photo paper, letter-size test pictures appeared fine, with bright colours as well as exact details. Nonetheless, dots were definitely noticeable up close, especially in skin tones. The caliber of the HP Photosmart 3310's greyscale and colour scans was basically just fair, experiencing washed-out or even absent light greys in addition to halo like bright places close to bold black text. The colour scan had an equally overexposed-looking form.

How do I install the ink cartridges on HP Photosmart C3180?
I've tried installing the cartridges but they will not click into place. Please help.
On mine there is a sticker with diagrams. Make sure the printer is on so that the carriage for the cartridges has moved to the right. After removing tape, hold the cartridge with sticker uppermost and print head away from you. Now angle it slightly so the back of the lid is above the front. Slide the cartridge into the slot and when it reaches the end, click into place by rocking backwards (raising front of cartridge).
